THE WINE
Some 200 wines of our massive wine list are served by the glass through Coravin wine preservation systems and a 36 module wine dispenser. You will find our weekly offers equally interesting.
The versatile wine list has been curated by the owner Fotini Pantzia. Following her first professional milestone in Journalism, on society reporting, wine won her over from her first day at “Boutari” winemakers.
In her words, “regardless of the position from which you serve it, wine is a huge magnet. This is not an ordinary consumer product. Wine is a living organism. From the moment you plant the seed in the vineyard, you worry, you feel sad or happy for the course and the development of the grape”.
BY THE GLASS
At By the Glass you can open any wine you like and have it by the glass. This enables you to choose from a range of 200 wines to try. This way you can relish on all the Greek grape varieties, as well as foreign, classics or up-and-coming, which depending on the terroir and wine making techniques get a new interesting identity every time.
CHAMPAGNE OR … THE SIGH OF A PRINCESS
Born in the Champagne region of France, it was destined to conquer the world; deservedly so. Champagne is not just a sparkling wine. It has a distinct production method and very different terminology on the label. A wine with which not all wine lovers are familiar with, since for most of us its presence is required in celebration dinners only. In reality though, it can claim its share in our everyday life.

We have chosen for you the best Greek and non-Greek, foreign, imported wines, emphasizing on their premium quality and unique character.
By the Glass offers wine lovers a concise and broad wine list of 500+ wines dividing them into 8 styles, ranging from creamy whites with discreet acidity to intensely aromatic or exotic, to rich and oaky and from juicy reds with rich body to full wines with velvet tannins. High quality wines that balance flavors with finesse.

OLD GREEK VINTAGES
At Wine Bar Restaurant By the Glass, wine is the absolute super star. A large range of old vintages, vintages form extraordinary years that is, could not but be present in our solid wine list. They are guaranteed to satisfy the most demanding palates. Wine lovers, proceed! By the Glass raises its glass to your health. Combining quality and environment, it raises the stakes!
MAGNUM & DOUBLE MAGNUM
Each bottle of wine is not just another bottle with just another shape and design. Magnums are big bottles (1.5 liter) the equivalent of two 750 ml bottles, with fanatic fandom worldwide. There is a long history behind the shape of wine bottles, just as there are some important details about their sizes. Let’s have a quick peak at this history, which starts around mid-17th century.
